Prior to launching The Golf, Ben Hortop established himself as a leading figure at the intersection of golf and business. As the Founder & CEO of Golf Partnership, Ben built a company with diversified interests spanning international golf consultancy, business brokering, investment fundraising, and professional events.

Over more than 25 years in golf and international business, Ben has combined the mindset of a Senior Executive Director with the expertise of a Professional Golfer, creating platforms that unite sport, commerce, and community impact. Through Golf Partnership, he helped organise and deliver over 150 corporate, charity, and celebrity Pro-Ams and events, working in collaboration with major championships, The R&A, the PGA Tour, European Tour, and numerous international and national charities.

As the Founder of Business Golf Network and Charity Golf Days, Ben continues to expand his vision for connecting business professionals through golf — building communities that create meaningful relationships, charitable impact, and measurable commercial outcomes. Ben brings a wealth of connections, credibility, and respect from across the golf industry and wider business community, serving as a trusted bridge between professional sport, enterprise, and purpose-driven collaboration.

A former European Tour winner, Scott is best known for his stunning 2004 PGA Championship victory at Wentworth in his rookie season. Now an active Legends Tour player, Scott combines his competitive career with leadership roles as Co-Director of Golf Partnership and Business Golf Network.

Scott brings deep expertise in golf consultancy, business brokering, and investment fundraising. He has organised and delivered numerous corporate, charity, and celebrity Pro-Am events.

Scott also brings his expertise to television commentary across the DP World Tour, Legends Tour, and EuroPro Tour. Highly respected across the golf industry, Scott offers a rare blend of tour experience, business acumen, and deep professional connections.
